About Daisy
Hello, My Name is Ms. Ramos. I have been an AVID tutor for about 5 years now with LAUSD. I have a B.A in psychology from CSUDH and I am currently pursing my teaching credential and masters Degress as a graduate student in CSUDH. At the moment I've been expanding my tutoring horizons via zoom/google meets and in person as well. I have experience in teacher assisting within an English, science, math, and history class; all 6-8th grade courses.
Within the past 5 years as a tutor, various experiences have brought a new light and sense of admiration to the profession. The ability to help a child comprehend and make that connection between the academic material they are stuglling with is simply uplifting. That moment that it simply "clicks" or the point they "get it" is what tutoring is all about.
