About Benjamin

I know a thing or two about setting oneself up for success. I utilized my knowledge & resources to earn a number of achievements in high school - high SAT scores, a 4.0 GPA, and admission into Bowdoin College, where I now rank in the top of my class. Now, I want to use what I've learned to help others get into the college of their dreams.

I study developmental psychology, so I know much about how children and teens grow up and how to best help them learn. I love to be able to use what I've learned to help people, espeically since I was once the hopeful high schooler anxious about applying to college!

I decided I'd like to begin tutoring and helping students with college prepartion because having gone through the process myself, I know how much of a difference it makes to have a tutor and a mentor. Since I have so much experience with this kind of stuff, I decided now would be a great time to start helping others go through the process!

- Graduated from Falmouth High School with a 4.00 GPA

- Top 20% in the Bowdoin College Class of 2021

- SAT score in 97th percentile (writing score in 99th percentile)

- Studies and research experience in child development psychology

- Advising Bowdoin underclassmen on career development and exploration

About the lesson

I've worked with eager college students, enthusiatic high school students, and energtic young children, ages 3-10!

Find somebody who has recent experience with the college admission process, who has gone through the same things the student is going through now, and who can relate to the students passions, struggles, and goals.
