About Nicole

I am a fun teacher. I work with you to find the best ways to help you achieve academic success. I have been tutoring for 3 years and taught at the preschool level for 6 years. I graduated from SUNY Old Westbury with a Bachelor's Degree in English studies. I have also been featured on The Odyssey Online for two poems I wrote.

As an English major I love literature and tutoring allows me to share my passion for English while helping other's.

When I was in my twenties I began teaching preschool and found a passion for helping little learners achieve success. Since then I have reignited my passion for English studies and look to combine those two passions to one day teach English studies at the collegiate level.

I am an English major who will have a Bachelor's in English studies in Fall 2022. I have been teaching preschool for 6 years where I developed my own curriculum to meet the goals of my students.

About the lesson

First identify what the student wants to work on and discuss how we can achieve those goals.

After finding our learning style we will create a plan of study to touch on everything we need to work on.

Follow our plan of study, changing what we need to along the way to allow for adaptability.

I have worked with children between 3-9 years of age. I have also tutored fellow classmates.

Look for someone who you can connect with. Someone who is willing to teach the way you learn. We all learn best through different ways and having someone who will work with you in the best way you learn will optomize your success.

I was inducted into the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society. The ceremony was a nice reminder as to why English studies are so important and the impact they make on helping fellow learners.
