About Chase

I am a Mother, Scholar, Disaster Scientist, and person living with ADHD. My service is custom-tailored to each student. Learning is not a one size fits all linear concept. First, I must evaluate where the student is with the subject matter, establish a goal of where the student is in relationship to said goal. Then I assess and quantify conditions impeding the desired educational goal. Is it that the student needs a learning style adaption due to learning challenges, ADD/ ADHD, etc.? Are there stressors in the environment that necessitate adaptation? What is the root cause of the student's need? I then build an individual work plan with achievable metrics to master the subject. I strive to present content in a fun and engaging way that will make your student enjoy learning.

There is nothing more satisfying to me than helping someone in need. Seeing a student transform from a self-conscious, uninterested, bored, and unsuccessful learner into a proud, accomplished, self-reliant student with demonstrated subject matter proficiency is priceless.

I truly believe if the student invest the time, they reap the return on investment. This is a team effort between me, your child, and you. It would be an honor and a privilege to work with your student. I have great techniques that I've acquired from the brightest minds in Academia. I can promise your student this will be fun and rewarding.

About the lesson

When first working with a new student, I must evaluate and qualify the problem the student is facing with the subject matter. Where are they now with the learning material/ subject matter? Are their learning issues/ ADD/ ADHD? Where do they need to be to achieve mastery of the subject?

By identifying these needs gaps, I can devise a tailored plan for the student, taking into consideration learning challenges, environmental constraints, personal stressors, and time sensitivity issues. The end product results in a confident student comfortable with the learning content with personal pride steeped in subject mastery.
