About Kelly

My name is Kelly. I have been in the education field since 2008. I aim to do the very best for my students and boost their confidence levels. I love seeing students succeed and feel better about themselves.

At Online Success Tutoring, we support students from Kindergarten through High School in all core academic subjects, including math, reading, writing, homework support, and test preparation (SAT/ACT). Whether a student needs help closing learning gaps, strengthening foundational skills, or preparing for an important exam, sessions are personalized to meet them exactly where they are.

We also offer English as a Second Language (ESL) support for children, teens, and adults. ESL sessions focus on building confidence in speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, whether for academic success, workplace communication, or everyday fluency.

Our approach is patient, structured, and encouraging. Every learner is different, so instruction is tailored to individual strengths, challenges, and goals. The focus isn’t just improving grades, it’s building understanding, confidence, and long-term academic success.

I have my Bachelor's in general and Special Education. My Master's in ESL and English, and a second Master's in Literacy.

About the lesson

First, I assess the student based on strengths and weaknesses and create a curriculum based on individual student needs.

I have worked with students from Pre-School all the way until 12th grade. I also teach adults English skills.

Perfect! Kelly was punctual, kind, and a general pleasure to work with. She accommodated a session schedule that, I believe, was atypical. The cost per session was in line with what I was able to afford.

Perfect! Working with Kelly was great. She made me feel comfortable and took her time to go over the material with me. If there were any issues on understanding she explain more in depth. We worked a month together with English language (grammar) and improved my test scores by 13 points.

Perfect! Kelly is warm, calm, and consistent. Her communication is excellent. She is encouraging yet firm, and has worked very successfully with our dysgraphic child who was struggling with remote learning in his first year of high school.

Kelly is such an amazing tutor and I’m glad I found her.
She was always on time and very flexible. She is a mother and being able to adjust her schedule like this is special.
She went above and beyond to make sure that I have the tools to better my English.
I enjoyed working with her.
Do yourself a favor, hire Kelly, you’ll thank yourself later.

Kelly was very flexible with all our needs. She knew the learning styles my son's teachers wanted him to learn and adapted herself to his personal learning style (need for breaks and redirection). She was also very flexible with emerging schedule changes, as things come up with children, and most of all, my son liked working with her. He was interested in the topics she chose and he loved the books she recommended.
If I need a tutor again, I will be messaging Kelly! Her assistance and guidance was invaluable to us this year, and I have great confidence she would be the same to anyone.
