About Philip
Hey Y’all - I’m Philip Posson 👋🏼 I’m a 25 year old scratch golfer in Charlotte looking to make it easier and more enjoyable for casual/amateur local golfers to drop strokes.
My goal is to support competitive amateurs who leverage the game for personal enjoyment and professional advancement.
I have 10+ years playing experience and excel at assessing and addressing swings according to an individuals feel.
Strengths in my game looking to develop for others are Driving (FIR, Distance, Fairway Alignment and Visualization ), Ball Striking (Ball flight, Shot Shaping, Feel), Chipping, and Putting (Green Reading, Distance Control).
We will work well together if you enjoy the game but are currently shooting in the 80s, 90s or occasional 100, and want to progress towards finding the 70s consistently through overall game improvement.
Happy to meet at Leatherman Learning Center or Harry L Jones, or wherever you typically practice around Charlotte.

Philip is a natural teacher. Also a great guy and super fun to learn from. In the matter of 30 minutes, he had my whole golf swing corrected and I was able to even shape my own shots at the end, which is something I never thought I would be able to do after just one lesson. He knows how to quickly determine your weak spots and then can very quickly explain and help you understand exactly what you need to do in order to make immediate progress. Highly recommend taking a lesson with him.
Phil was amazing to work with. Such a great teacher and very patient as I developed my swing. Highly recommend!
