Experienced tutor in Guitar in DeWitt, Ron offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

Very knowledgeable and patient instructor. He made the learning process enjoyable too.

Ron obtains the student's background and adjusts lessons to fit well into the student's music beginning. I had no music experience but his lesson plans were well worked out to fit my need. He was always on time and ready to teach. He maximized the lesson time well. His suggestions seemed practicable. It is enjoyable experience.

He was so patient and kind with my daughter! She learned so much from him! She looked forward to him coming every week.

Ron Moore is a gifted musician and an excellent teacher who encourages and demands excellence from his students. I sought out Ron for his expertise in fingerpicking and Flamenco. I don't believe there is anyone better in our area to break down these challenging and complicated forms and techniques. He's a master. If there were 6 stars I'd give him all 6. He will definitely take your playing to the next level. Don't expect some pushover or someone to coddle you when you haven't done the work, either. Ron expects his students to come prepared and put in the effort required to make progress, part of his disciplined mindset and classical background. Highly recommended!

Ron has been teaching students of all ages at our store for two years and has developed a loyal following. He teaches what you want to learn, in all styles, whether it's folk, rock, jazz, classical or even ukulele. Highly recommended.

Been taking lessons with Ron for a couple of years now. I am an adult and started out knowing nothing about guitar. Overall, he is excellent. Has the ability to simplify things for beginners and 'jazz' things up when you are ready. He can cover a wide variety of genres including classical, flamenco, jazz, rock, pop, bass, etc. He can cover as much theory and technique as you would like or just play music. He will adjust to give you whatever you want to get out of your lessons.

I have been taking guitar lessons from Ron for over ten years. We have covered all types of classic rock, from Zeppelin to Clapton, rockers to ballads. Ron is willing to listen to your questions, offering detailed instruction and techniques to improve your playing. He covers the basics to the finest details of songs including, interesting insight into the bands and their music. Ron is open to teaching guitar for all types of music, and I have challenged him with many obscure rock songs from the 80’s. You could not ask for a better guitar instructor!

Ron gives lessons to both my boys. One takes electric guitar, the other acoustic. They are both very different learners with very different strengths. Ron is able to draw on those individual strengths and personalities. They're different kids, so he teaches them differently. Couldn't ask for a better instructor!
