About Carlos
I teach acoustic and electric guitar. As your instructor I will teach only beginners. I will be teaching the ABC 's of guitar such as solfege, reading chords, posture of the fingers, I can teach solo lead guitar and also basic essential skills books to develop and grow into budding musicians. The age that prefer to teach would be 15 and up I have 14 years experience playing the guitar. I have been teaching guitar for 20 years now. From my experience of teaching over the years I have dedicated my career to making music fun, and enjoyable, but also as a tool for discipline for children. If my students work hard in it I will get them to a level where they can play in college at a college level.
Being a teacher is very rewarding. I feel excited when my students are excited and learning and growing. I also enjoy that I am doing something for their future to use music their knowledge to pass on what I have given them which makes me feel very quenched.
my accomplishments are I have been in 7 rock bands. I have been in 2 salsa bands. I have played with Tony Barreto he used to be a lead trumpet for Tito Puentes
I have been teaching guitar for 20 years
I learned guitar by my father back almost 30 years ago. I also had guitar training with an instructor by my neighbor and I have also taught myself hands on as well.

I Will teach the novice step by step basic essential guitar methods
school students and young adults
Look for someone in your area. Someone that charges fair someone you feel comfortable with you feel like you can ask them anything without feeling you are on pins on needles at every lessons scared to ask questions. Also being able to feel free to involve your family in your studies in music.
I did a cultural show at the Elizabeth Public Library the song that I chose was Carlos vives songs and I played for a concert in Elizabeth festival in NJ.
