About Mark
With 25+ years experience in live performance and studio, I can help you further your career in music as well. I love sharing my epxerience and knowledge to help new and independent artists make a career of their passion!
I have taught private lessons for the past 10 years and have worked with many up and coming artists in the studio, from mixing and mastering to songwriting and production. A lso, I have had my music used as placements in tv shows.
I got started teaching when I was in college. People in the dorms wanted to play the guitar and i needed money for food..LOL! However, I have always enjoyed sharing my experience and knowledge with aspiring musicians.
I studied music performance in college and have worked as a studio musician and engineer. I have been classically trained on the piano (since I was 8), guitar and bass. For the past 25+ years I have worked in the music business either teaching or working as an engineer/studio musician. I have tons of studio and stage experience and can prepare you for anything from auditions for college/bands to studio/live performance.

First, I start off by figuring out what level the student is really at. Then, move forward based upon the skill level and what the student wants to do. Do they just wanna be able to play songs for friends at parties? Do they wanna be in a band and pursue a music career? Do they wannna be a studio musician, engineer or producer? Singer songwriter...etc....

Details
Generally, I charge $20 per 1/2 hour lesson and $35 per hour lesson for cash. However, If you would like to set up a monthly plan that would be $120 for (2) two 30 min. lessons per week or $240 for (2) 60 min. lessons per week (paid on the 1st of each month).
