About Mark
Professional guitar player with over 600 live performances, 4 albums and many years of playing rock, classic rock, and some light jazz. I am a player by ear, understand how theory works together. I can play most anything I can hear and can show how to do that by fining the key and framework for the progression, changes and scales that go around the music. Very straight forward understanding to how music works.
I also know how to set up guitars and know how to help get a good sound to help players cut through the clutter and understand what will allow them to get the best rig for their style. It starts with your hands but inevitably to the end of your speakers. If you want to come a long way very quickly, I can save you a lot of time.
when all of my friends heard me, they started sending me people who wanted to learn. It all grew from there.
i have been playing guitar since I was 8 years old. I had lessons from some great players over the years in all styles including rock, r and b, and jazz.

Mark is a flat out maniac on the guitar!!! The man knows his way around the fretboard!!!

Great guitar player that I've known for 37 years.
I grew up in the small town in upstate ny and I was able to watch mark improve from his first lessons on and watched him emerge as a young guitar slinger I will always respect his talent and his passion for the guitar and for music....gibe it a try if you can't learn from him you can't learn period.
Mark is phoenominal guitar player with a lot of experience in working groups and gigging situations. As a Teacher this experience will help him define your musical goals, shape your lesson planning, and develop techniques and skills that will make a REAL difference in your future musical abilities. I highly recommend Mark as a Teacher.
There is nothing Mark can't play, and, more importantly to me, he has a personality that makes the whole process fun. His passion is contagious, and his knowledge is comprehensive. He makes me want to practice!
