About Christopher
Hello! I am Chris and I have been playing guitar since 2006. I am 24 years old and have spent the last few years of my life studying music at Hofstra University, where I studied jazz guitar with the late, great, Rick Stone.
I am here to help you! I tailor each lesson to your own personal and musical tastes and goals, in order to help you and give you the tools you need to express yourself on your instrument more fluently.
Although I have studied jazz, I am a folk songwriter and producer, and thoroughly enjoy country guitar picking! Fingerpicking is something I practice heavily.
Although my focus is in songwriting and recording, teaching others jazz and expressing ideas on their instrument is something I find incredibly rewarding. I feel fulfilled when I see my students progress, learn, and begin to observe the hard work that they put in pay off.
