Lessons begin with an introduction to safety and communication. Two ground lessons are required prior to mounting in order to establish a solid horsemanship foundation. During these lessons we work on communication using the language of the horse, basic anatomy, grooming, the basics of tacking and selecting tack, and more.
I am certified with both PATH International and the Certified Horsemanship Association to teach ground and riding skills. I also have also completed the "old" Parelli level one, which is equilavent to the "new" levels one and two.
