About Amanda
My name is Amanda, and I have been a teacher for over ten years. What makes me a great teacher? Well, I am a constant learner- mostly of what works and doesn't work when teaching PreK -5th grade. Learning is FUN! Period. Your child will actually look forward to our tutoring sessions where I will use games, real life experiences, and a variety of other tools to teach them the reading, spelling, and math skills they need. I also specialize in special education.
Not only will your child begin to love learning, but I will be very intentional in making sure their confidence is built through constant encouragement (no negative vibes allowed) and praise for all of their work. And let's face it, learning can be emotional for children as well, and I will support and coach them every step of the way.
My highest level of education is a Master's degree.
