About Theresa
I've been teaching ever since my time in college because I loved getting to work with other people, and it's wonderful to keep up with my own education by teaching others.
I’m a Harvard graduate in biomedical engineering currently completing my medical training at Duke Medical school. I love teaching and have worked with students in all academic fields from STEM classes to English and Music. I always adjust my teaching style to the student I'm working with, and am always happy to provide extra resources. Looking forward to doing more!

I always love to start by introducing myself and getting to know the student a little bit, before diving into the material. After that, my priority is getting to know how the student learns best and making sure that they get the most out of their lessons by adjusting my teaching style accordingly.
All ages and academic backgrounds, from middle-schoolers and current college students to grown-ups who are going back to school to finish up a degree!
When it comes to math and science, most ttors will know their stuff but not everyone knows how to teach it well. Find someone with a personality you enjnoy, and who explains things in a way that you actually understand! I do my best to adjust my own style to connect with every student, no matter their background.
