About Kitana
Hello! My name is Kitana and I am 19 years old. I recently graduated high school, and realized that I have a profound love of teaching and educating others. My favorite subjects are Mathematics, Science, and Literature. Although I am not currently in college, nor have I obtained any university degrees, I spent several years acting as a substitute teacher to my younger brother, and would occasionally tutor friends and family members. I am dedicated and hard-working, and more than willing to teach you and help you excel in math.
I am very passionate about math and very much enjoy working with numbers and equations and the like. I enjoy working with children and teenagers, and will do my very best to understand you and teach you in a way that best suits you. I am also very patient and understanding toward each student's study schedule and learning strategies.

Nothing connects a student and their tutor better than a simple introduction. As for tutoring in an academic subject, I start every process with learning each student's unique academic abilities and what areas of the subject that they would like help in. I would engage the student in a discussion where I would ask him/her specific questions about the subject we are discussing in order to learn and recognize where their strongest abililties are, and then focus on improving the areas where they would like to improve in.
