About Samantha
I'm currently in graduate school to become an elementary school teacher and a middle school math teacher. I find creative ways to get your child both excited and passionate about learning. My goal is to help them find the joy and entertainment in all aspects of their learning.
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College, class of 2017. I will be graduating in 2020 with my Masters in Teaching with a dual certification in Math for Middle Grades and Elementary Education (K-6) from Montclair State University. I have recently spent a year as an education assistant at an acting school for students with special needs and I currently nanny.

I spend a half hour getting to know their interests, hobbies, and learning strengths. Then we begin by doing a project to increase their interest in the subject we're working on. One of my students loves horses so we're making a horse farm and using math to create the barn, buy supplies, and figure out how to make a profit.
