About Calista
Math is often accompanied by unnecessary stress due to the way it's taught in most schools. However, math can be a simple and fun way to learn how everything in the world works, as math is the foundation for everything. I strive to find the method of learning that best suits each student, so learning can become a stress-free and simple subject. I've tutored various highschool students and have led a college study group in my Engineering degree. I recieved 4.0's in all the math courses I've taken in college, from Calculus to Linear Algebra.
I have recently created a LinkedIn profile and am working on updating it with a picture, engineering projects, and experiences.

I started tutoring while in high school and began to substitute teach once I started college. Teaching has always come easy to me and I have also developed great study skills, especially for math.
I have tutored students of various ages, led college study groups, and substituted in elementary to high school classrooms.

New students looking for curriculum lessons will talk over their concerns and goals in an initial meeting. I will then create a personalized curriculum plan that suits their best learning methods.
New students looking for test preparation sessions will send me the test topic and type they're preparing for. We will then meet and review the study material I've created.
New students looking for quick topic review can send me the topic and expect a few sessions reviewing the study materials I have on the topic.
I have worked with middle school, high school, and college-level students. I have also substitute taught in all elementary classrooms and helped teach them various levels of the math curriculum.
