About Sharif
I don't believe in "cookie-cutter" teaching. Everyone is different (especially with learning), so I try to alter my teaching to your needs.
I'm a teacher, so I always give information needed for vertical alignment.
I helped many students receive scholarships due to high grades in class and standardized testing (ACT, SAT). In a way, I save you money from those high college tuition bills.
Growth, relationships, and learning different cultures.
I love to see my students grow. Even though tutoring brings me a paycheck, my goal is to increase independence and, unfortunately, not need my services.
From visiting my family home, I often meet new people and occasionally make new friends.
I've met so many different cultures and never mind adapting to them. That can be taking off my shoes at the door or not wearing leather. I enjoy learning about cultures different from my own.

Perfect! Sharif is an amazing tutor who always goes above and beyond to help. He is great with kids of all ages and takes the time to teach the topics and ensure my child is retaining info too. He is very patient and understands how to connect with kids and teaches at their level. I would highly recommend using Sharif to tutor you child!
Perfect! Sharif has been a wonderful tutor for my daughter. He takes her pace, adjust his instruction and is meeting her needs to support her learning better. We are still working with Sharif and believe he will help our daughter gain confidence in her math skills.
Perfect! Our 14 year old son has been drastically struggling in ninth grade math. He was failing every quiz and math test he'd take. His confidence in math was at an all time low. We feared he wouldn't pass math. We tried to receive help from his math teacher but when that deamed unsuccessful we desperately sought tutoring services. SKI tutoring contacted us. I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of this company. Before our son even started tutoring I felt a sense of relief. Our son has been with SKI Tutoring for only three weeks and scored his first 100% on a math quiz in class this morning! He was so excited and I was so overjoyed to see his confidence return. He believes he can do math now! Before SKI tutoring he would tell us that he just wasn't good at math.
If your child needs help in math I highly recommend SKI tutoring! They have gone above and beyond to help our child become successful in math.Perfect! Mr. Thompson has been absolutely wonderful. Sharif is phenomenal!! My son needed help for college Trig this summer. He spent many hours, was very flexible and so professional in every interaction. Most of all, as a mother, I appreciated his genuine commitment and desire for my son to understand the content and be successful in passing- reachingthe "AHA moment". My son was on the verge of failing, but Sharif enabled him to turn it around and pass- Hallelujah!! I highly recommend AHA!Moments Tutoring.
