About Isaias
I just graduated from college with a bachelor's in biology and begin Chiropractic school this upcoming September. Being fresh out of college allows me to supply others with the knowledge, tricks, and experience to approaching challenging courses.
I enjoy seeing breakthroughs! STEM courses can be very stressful and challenging. My job is to be there to provide the support and push that you need to breakthrough. Learning should be fun, not stressful.
It started with myself. I began to teach myself how to effectively study, minimizing the amount of stress and anxiety that comes from difficult courses like math and science. I eventually began to teach peers little tricks here and there.
I just graduated with a bachelor's in biology from Barry University in early May. Being a first-generation student, I had to learn a lot on my own. I had to learn how to be organized, how to study efficiently, and even had to learn how to take advantage of resources (like the internet) around me. Being a student myself not only makes it easier to relate to but it also has the advantage of having subjects still fresh in my mind.

Before getting into tutoring, I like to get to know my students. I want to know their way of approaching their academics, specifically understanding their problem-solving strategies. Once that is out of the way, I like to present my strategies, tricks, and experience. Eventually, we will come up with a way to attack these difficult subjects without any stress and frustration.
I've worked with students with different learning abilities. We all have different ways of learning and absorbing information. Whether that is by using images, text, or refacing or teaching the material. All I different methods work differently to one's advantage.
I would advise seeking for someone who you can feel comfortable with. I say this because the hardest thing for me as a student is being able to ask questions without the fear of it being a stupid question. Over the course of my academia, I have learned that no question is a stupid question if you learn from it. Don't be afraid to ask whatever you need to.
I am very excited to say that I got accepted to Chiropractic school and will start in September 2020.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would think through all the possible ways of attacking a problem. Even though teachers are there to help, when one struggles with solving a problem they learn more from it more. If you can't answer the problem then don't be afraid to ask a question. The teacher should be more than happy to answer it.

This tutor format is a great way to learn difficult subjects that I find myself having trouble with. My tutor did a great job of re-explaining the main concept of the subject that I was having trouble with. He knew exactly what he was doing, he was being very patient, and taught me the challenging subject in a fun way that helped me enjoy learning!!
