About Eric
I get along great with my students. I'm there to help them, so I relate the material in a way the student can understand. I'm patient and positive because I always believe the student has the capability to understand, and it is my job to make sure they do.
I am also a great communicator with students and parents.
I love working with students to help them understand a specific topic and improve their skills. On top of that, I believe that the confidence they gain by mastering a subject will also translate into giving them confidence to overcome challenges in other areas of their lives. I love seeing the student believe in themselves. It is very rewarding and why I prefer tutoring individuals or small groups rather than teaching an entire class.

Eric has been a foundation for academics in our family for a very long time - tutoring all of my children (now young adults) - from mathematics to Spanish to American history. I love his balance between being a gentle coach but not letting them slide or make excuses. Eric is one of the best people in our lives, and I am forever grateful that he has guided and assisted my kids through their academic careers. (And he's still available for the occasional call from college!)
