About Chaya
Hi!
I am an experienced and dedicated tutor who earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology at CUNY Brooklyn College, a Master of Public Health at Mercer University, and a medical degree from the Technion Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine in Israel (September 2023).
My teaching experience includes high school, college, and medical school science. The ability to convey complicated ideas in an easy-to-understand way is one of my strong points. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a biology, chemistry, and physics tutor in my school, allowing me to develop a firm understanding of these subjects. As a result of this experience, I have been able to develop tremendous skills and understanding related to successful teaching methods. The most valuable skill I gained was understanding a student's learning style and tailoring our sessions accordingly. In my opinion, successful learning requires this kind of individual attention. This is true from college to now, where I am a professional tutor, working with premed, medical students and instructors preparing physicians for licensing exams for renown tutor platform.
Besides academic tutoring, I founded my own tutoring company over ten years ago and focus on high school students. My passion for teaching has been incredibly rewarding through this venture.
I believe tutoring should be student-centered, focusing on the nuances of each student's learning style to help them achieve a higher level of success. Teaching is something I absolutely enjoy, and I look forward to helping even more students succeed academically.
