About Velia
My students are never bored. If we are in a group session, they never paint the same exact painting as anyone else. If we are in private sessions, I am allowed the time to delve into deeper experimenting with my different mediums.
I really enjoy taking a beginner to creative zones they never thought possible. It's the joy I see in their eyes and expressions when they stand back from their completed art piece that warms my heart.
I have extensive training throughout the US as well as Romania and London. I am an award winning artist for my Canvass work as well as the 2017 Walton Sculpturer of the Year. Also, my work has been featured on the cover of the International Spa magazine as well as in many national and regional publications. My artwork has been purchased by several hotels and spas, corporations and I am blessed and honored to have many avid collectors.
I have been awarded art residencies with Dacia Gallery in New York and Romania. My next solo show will be with Artel Museum and Gallery in Pensacola, Florida March 17 - April 23, 2020.
