About Jocelynn
Personal Trainer:
I am a NASM certified personal trainer specializing in fitness nutrition and behavior change. I have been a personal trainer since 2019. I can communicate in English, American Sign Language and Spanish.
I train my clients to push outside of their comfort zones so that they can reach their full potential.
Each person is different and has different needs so I like to create personalized workouts for my clients based on their goals and areas of weakness. I love to participate in trail running events and exercise on a daily basis to improve my physical endurance and stay prepared to work on commercial and film projects. I have completed distances on trails ranging from 5K to 21K. My love for fitness and getting outdoors was featured in a campaign collaboration with REI Co-Op and Shape magazine called “Discover Your Best Self”. What do you love about training-
I love seeing my clients grow and gain confidence. When they break through their mental barriers, it literally give me chills. I also enjoy connecting with people. It's not just about fitness, it's about creating relationships and positively impacting my clients’ lives through fitness.
Typical process
When I begin working with new students I always ask what their goals are. This is followed by an assessment to see where they are at and to find any weaknesses that need to be addressed. At the end of the first session, we discuss what I found and create a plan to correct weaknesses and get stronger. It's not just about fixing what is wrong, I want to create habits that last for a lifetime.
Standard Pricing
Clients can work with me 1-4 times a month for 3, 6, 12 months. The monthly investment range for any of my programs is between $366/month - $1682/month.
Students I work with
I work with mostly teenagers and adults.
It is very rewarding and fun for me to help others to improve their skills. I started working as a tutor in 2011 and have had many experiences working with students in different environments since then.

Jocelynn is one of the best tutors I have ever worked with. She’s really patient, well prepared and dedicated tutor. She helped me in two major business projects in which I did really well. One class I passed with a B+ and the most recent one with an A-. If you are in trouble in school but have Jocelynn working with you, and are also willing to work hard, you’ll pass. She’s the best!
Jocelyn was so patient, kind, and adaptive to my learning style. I enjoyed working with her. She made our lessons fun, and I never felt judged when I got an answer wrong! I worked with her for both semesters of my sign language classes, and got A's both times. I know that I would not have gotten A's in the classes without her help. She was also very flexible in working with my schedule, even doing online classes on Skype when it worked better. I highly recommend her!!
