About Kyle
I'm a classical and pop pianist and accompanist of both choral concerts and church services. For the past 25 years I've been teaching piano to students of all ages, levels and styles. I have a Master's degree in music education and more importantly, a desire to help anyone and everyone who wants to play. As a teacher I have a flexible approach, adjusting my style to fit the needs of each student.
I love seeing students open up to the learning process and to see their happiness over being able to play more and more as time goes on.
I have a Master's degree in music education from Rutgers' Mason Gross School of the Arts. More importantly, I have over 25 years' experience teaching private piano lessons.

I listen to, and watch, a new student play to get a feel for their connection to music and their playing technique. I show them the basics of good technique, just a small amount each lesson, and give them something to play. I give them music to practice during the week that will be interesting and satisfying, and that will foster a sense of accomplishment.
