About Natalie
I am passionate about customizing music education to each student, and as a lessons teacher, I am extremely excited to help each student find their musical voice!
I enjoy working with students on pieces that inspire and motivate them, and searching for the right piece for each student.
I am going into my third year as a music education major at the University of Maryland, where I have experience playing in both large ensembles and chamber groups, along with being trained to be an educator! Additionally, I have over 10 years of piano experience and 9 years of flute experience. Music has always been my life, and I have been trained in many styles, including jazz and classical.

Regardless of experience level, I like to make sure that my students are making music from the very first lesson. Learning to read music is of course extremely important, but I always start my new students with playing by ear so that they can immediately be challenged with making sounds.
