Jim is an amazingly gracious and patient teacher, despite his incredible ability to create his own beautiful works of art! His knowledge of human anatomy (every single facet that make of our heads, faces, and necks, and how each emotion changes other facial features) really makes learning from him so much more than "how to work with clay". He is an artist who lovingly shares his knowledge and abilities with others!

Jim is a remarkable teacher...he instructs, checks in and gives us freedom to be creative, sometimes challenging him to instruct us more on hats and arms and hair and feathers! I have studied with him for 5 years. He NEVER disappoints. Always generous and supportive....New students will be pleased and excited to finish a great piece. Heads up!

My wife and I took Jim's sculpture class and loved it! The sculpture I made in the class (my very first ever), gets so much attention from friends it's amazing! It really did come out quite good. Jim is a great instructor!

I discovered I was a star sculptor thanks to Jim Lee! Not only is he the best instructor in the West, but such a pleasant person. His classes are fun and inspirational and you get to be a"Michael Angelo" with your masterpieces. Such a fun time and I think I really created some worthy sculptures.

I love taking classes from Jim because of his fun personality while also being extremely knowledgeable and helpful while walking you through the process. My first class I was amazed at what the other students and I were capable of under his direction. I have enjoyed each class that I have taken from him. I appreciate that he has kept his classes small so that he can give each student the individual attention that they need. He is always a pleasure to be around and makes his classes carefree and fun for first timers or experienced sculptors!

The perfect space, the perfect teacher and whether first time or seasoned sculptures the class is always a joy to be apart. I'm hooked.
