About Jennifer
I stand out because I've been doing this for so long. I wasn't sure then how to really make something of it, I thought it to be something I thoroughly enjoyed and wasn't aware of the demand for it. I stand out because I've got a passion for my culture and the beauty in the language. I would love to have a chance to do what I've been doing instinctively but on a more formal basis and with some structural planning.
It brings me great joy when I can teach someone my language. Everyone is always wanting to learn but to put in the work and really appreciate the time and effort into it all is the best reason to want to continue and flourish.
I was born in Michoacán and am fluent in the language. Speaking Spanish has always opened so many doors for me and been very beneficial in all my previous work. This is why I would love to teach the language and see the impacts it can have on someone else as well. Spanish is a beautiful language that can increase your pay based on the solely fact that you have the skill to communicate with more than your first language. Not only that but it also can be eye opening. I started teaching from a very young age, around 1st grade was when it really all began though and ever since I've been the person to go to for help with either translating or teaching.
I started teaching at school, when I was young there were students who only spoke Spanish and I was blessed to be able to speak both English and Spanish combined with my love to help others I was deemed the perfect translator. As I got older I would teach my friends, help with Spanish homework, and study halls.

The typical process is to teach the basics of the language and get to know the students knowledge on the language. Learning the culture can intensify the desire to learn as well so it's a topic I like to incorporate.
