About Jennifer
As an Instructional Aide (2 years) in a Special Day Class, elementary school, I work with students on the Spectrum and with a variety of needs. With a mild manner and calm presence, I try to identify how the student learns best. Are dinosaurs their world? Trains? Let's work with those interests and support their educational foundation.
The victories, big and small.
The student who rarely engages says thank you. The student who rarely speaks says "There is a bug on the wall." The next step of the addition problem is identified independently.
