About Maya
I've been practicing yoga for as long as I can remember. I am certian that it is my practice that keeps me grounded and in a constant state of serenity, When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I was inspired to share ways to relieve stress with the community. This led to enrolling in a Yoga Teacher Training program.
I graduated as a certified yoga instructor through the Kaivalya Yoga Method Yoga Teacher Training. Since then I have been registered with Yoga Alliance as a 200 RYT. I also recieved certification as a Yoga Therapist.

When working with a new student, the first step is to learn more about them and what their personal goals are for their yoga practice. This can be done via a quick discovery call or a student intake form. From there, I curate an individual plan based on the student's desired level of intensity, areas of focus and goals. Yoga is a journey so there can be changes and tweaks made along the way as the student's needs transform.
Througout my career as a yoga instructor and therapist I've worked with an array of students. I have taught men and women of all ages and a variety of body types. I make it a point to ensure that my sessions are accessibly to every body.

Thank you Maya for sharing your gifts, for having so much light and for being exactly what we needed. We love you!
Maya was very welcoming and professional! The set up was neat and really set the mood. For my first time doing yoga she made me feel comfortable and had no problem helping or explaining to those who needed it. I loved her class and will most definitely be going back. I give her a 10/10, she is amazing!!
