About Madeline
Originally from Dallas, I havebeen living in Austin, TX since 2011. I was first introduced to yoga in 2012 while on a path of self-discovery during my adventures and travels. Since I started practicing yoga, I have come to understand myself and life from a whole new perspective. Since moving back to Texas from Portland, OR in 2017, I completed the 200-hour teacher training program at Namah Shivaya Jyoti Yoga.
In December 2017 I completed my Yin Yoga training with Gioconda Parker. I recently graduated from my 500-hour certification at Practice Yoga Austin with an emphasis on advanced asana and philosophy. My advanced Yoga teacher training has been guided directly from the wise and knowledgeable minds of my wonderful teachers; Gioconda Parker, Iva Drtina Hall, Jenn Wooten, Shanti Kelley, Shawn Kent, and Kiely Walters.
I believe in bringing harmony to life. As such, I specializes in Yin Yoga and guided meditation while also offering my unique style of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga classes. With a focus on awareness, the Self, being present, and cultivating a sense of wholeness, my students can anticipate a practice filled with intuitive mindful movement – a practice that flows out in response to the energy of the day. In addition, I infuse a blanket of healing sound into my Savasana through the soothing vibrations of my Tibetan singing bowls and meditation chimes.
My goal as a yoga teacher is to help others to know that they have the ability to heal themselves. I am very passionate about teaching yoga and welcome everyone to open their heart to the divine within and all around.
