About Rachel
I've been told I'm kind, friendly and approachable. Psychology is a constant source of fascination for me, and I thoroughly enjoy interacting with students of all abilities and ages, helping them progress to achieve their goals. I completed a psychology degree at London University and trained at the Institute of Education (now UCL). I have an excellent track record of results with students of all abilities, including those with learning difficulties. Much of my time has been engaged in teaching Advanced and GCSE Psychology, and tutoring Sixth Form students. I also have experience teaching Critical Thinking, Health and Social Care and courses for students with learning difficulties as well as Access to Social Science and Nursing Programmes. When I visited LSE as a tutor for the Gifted and Talented on their wider participation programme I loved preparing resources on the 'Psychology of Happiness'. I'm now studying for an MSc in Counselling Psychology, so will be empathetic to your needs as a student. It's fine for me to travel or meet students at a suitable location. I look forward to meeting you and discussing what you want to achieve.
