About Uzma
I am an MSc student at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. I've scored 92%, 84% and 90% in my 10th, 12th and BSc exams respectively. I am giving private classes in math and science since I have a knack of studying by understanding concepts, not by rote-learning; and I want to guide younger students to develop the same skills. My course includes effective teaching and portraying ideas in a simple and concise way. I am currently tutoring a 6th grade student from the US online for Math and English writing, and have helped him improve his scores to an average of 90%.

My teaching methodology includes a lot of small D.I.Y projects and solving real-world themed sums and scientific problems, thus generating interest and enhancing understanding of the concepts learnt by the student. I believe that I have the relevant skills and strong conceptual knowledge to enable students get a hands-on learning experience as much as possible, which will make them understand and link concepts better.
