About Louise
I have a distinction in an art foundation course at UCA Epsom where I studied numerous practices within art and design - From photography to graphics to textiles.
I am also a graduate from the London college of fashion - part of UAL - with a degree in fashion textiles.
I now work at an independent school as Designer in residence and I mainly work with GCSE. and ALEVEL art and design students, this will range from sewing, fashion and textiles, art, painting, sculpture etc.

When working with art GCSE and ALEVEL students, I help them with ideas and any practical support needed. I give demos for new techniques.
When working with the younger students, each lesson will have a theme with a reachable outcome. However with practical subjects hurdles may arise but I have learnt to think on my feet as the lesson goes on.
I get to do a lot of one on one sessions at the school I work at as the number of students is small. I have experience working with individuals and helping them with they’re projects, making sure that they enjoy what techniques and ideas we use. I do tutorial sheets for each session to note any important points and to see progress - I keep and copy and the student keeps a copy.
I provide classes for those who have art as a hobby or passion and enjoy being creative. As-well as classes for those whom may be at exam level and need assistance with they’re portfolio etc.
I have a conservatory at home which I use as my studio space where all things creative happen! This is a great environment to work in, very light and spacious to help the creativity flow.
