About Fintan
Having learnt French completely from scratch, with no French relatives, I understand the persistence and support needed to succeed at the various levels. I also understand how rewarding and beneficial learning languages can be, and have loved the opportunities it has provided me up to this point.
This is why I'd love to use what I've learnt to help other students reach their goals.

While my teaching style will vary depending on the needs and learning styles of the student, my focus rests on ensuring students retain and are able to apply the skills I've taught in both a practical and exam-based setting. Where possible, I will also ensure the material I use to teach is engaging and tailored to the interests of the student.
When teaching both writing and speaking skills, I will aim to ensure fluency and authenticity are held alongside accuracy.
Lessons may last from an hour to longer, depending on how much content the student would like to go through in one go.
