About Sam
I am a final-year medical student at the University of Newcastle. I studied French across GCSE and AS-Level, achieving top grades in both, and scoring 97% in my final oral exam.
As a non-native speaker, I am familiar with the quirks of the French language and more apt to teach fellow non-French students. Learning a new language is a challenging and daunting experience, but being taught by someone who has been through the same thing makes it far more straightforward.
I have spent extensive time in France, meaning I know the language both conversationally and academically. As part of my training in medicine, I will also undertook a month-long placement in the South of France.
