About David
I am a younger tutor, who appreciates from his own journey the struggles encountered in learning, and knows how to overcome them. This keener appreciation for the student's perspective lets me identify and fix their learning problems faster than most.
I combine traditional techniques with new ones for an effective and hybrid approach to ground the student as firmly and quickly as possible in the subject, and show them their own ability.
The two keys of my approach are:
1) to guard the student from the usual paralysing sense that there is a vague mass of unlearnt and forgotten content waiting to trip them up. This requires a comprehensive approach to the subject.
2) to invest the student in his/her own path of learning, and inspire the enthusiasm to engage happily with the subject.
