About Rhiya
I am a dedicated and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in math and science. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take the time to explain concepts clearly and adjust my teaching style to meet each student’s needs.
I strive to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and are never afraid to make mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them develop strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude toward learning.
I work with elementary and middle school students and can provide support with homework, assignments, test preparation, and strengthening foundational math and science skills. I am committed to making every lesson productive, engaging, and tailored to the student.

My approach to tutoring is focused on making difficult concepts simple, practical, and easy to understand. I begin by identifying what the student already knows and where they are struggling, then tailor each lesson to their specific needs and learning style. I use clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions, and step-by-step guidance to build both understanding and confidence.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material, followed by an easy-to-understand explanation of the new concept. We then work through examples together before the student practices independently with my guidance. I encourage students to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence as they improve.
What sets me apart is my patience and ability to break down challenging topics into smaller, manageable steps. I want students to feel comfortable learning and leave each lesson feeling more confident in their abilities.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students looking for support in mathematics and science, including help with homework, assignments, upcoming tests, and strengthening foundational skills.
