About Tiger
I am a second-year English Literature student at the University of Exeter, currently working at a First-Class level, with a passion for literature, writing, and teaching.
By combining my recent experience of the exam system (achieving AAA at A-Level) with my continued academic development at university, I offer students both a relatable perspective and a high standard of academic guidance. My aim is to inspire curiosity, nurture ability, and help each student feel proud and confident in their work and progress.
Having recently progressed through GCSE and A-level study, I have a strong understanding of the current skills and standards required at each stage of English education. I bring both the perspective of someone who has successfully navigated these qualifications and the academic insight I continue to develop through my degree.

I aim to help students gain the confidence they need to achieve. My lessons are tailored to GCSE/A-level students of all skill ranges. Lessons range from hour or more- it all depends on the student’s individual needs and comfortability.
Having recently completed my A-Levels, I have first-hand experience of what current exam boards look for. I know the revision techniques, common mistakes, and exam strategies that allowed me to excel when it came to both essays, and coursework.
I look to transfer this knowledge with clarity, fostering confidence and proficiency in the subject, along with a genuine passion for all things English.
Whether you feel your child needs help getting comfortable with the subject, or if they just need that extra push to excel- I can help develop the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their goals.
