About Freya
Hi, I'm Freya! I hold a first-class BA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University, and an MA in Art History with distinction from The Warburg Institute. I'm also a qualified English teacher (PGDE University of Edinburgh) with years of experience teaching in schools, tutoring privately and mentoring for school and university applications. I have a thorough grounding in ancient and modern languages, particularly French, Latin, Greek and Italian. Alongside my academic qualifications, I have the classroom experience to make learning productive and engaging for students of all ages and abilities. I'm friendly and approachable, and I focus on each student as a unique individual with their own learning preferences and strengths. My teaching practice is tailored and personalised to allow every student to flourish in their own way.
