About Vicky
Hello! I’m Vicky, a qualified primary school teacher with extensive experience teaching KS1 and KS2. I’m passionate about helping children build confidence, develop a love of learning, and achieve their full potential.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, and interactive learning, ensuring that every child understands the concepts and feels confident applying them. I also have experience supporting children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and attachment needs, tailoring lessons to their unique strengths and challenges.
I believe that learning works best when children feel safe, encouraged, and understood. Whether your child needs extra support with reading, writing, maths, or just a boost in confidence, I create lessons that are engaging, purposeful, and enjoyable.

Online Tutor – Primary & Lower Secondary (KS1–KS2)
I am a qualified and experienced primary teacher offering supportive, engaging online lessons tailored to each child’s needs. My approach is calm, structured, and encouraging, with a strong focus on building confidence as well as academic success.
My teaching approach & methodology
I use clear modelling, step-by-step explanations, and guided practice to help pupils fully understand new concepts. Lessons are interactive and adapted to each learner’s pace, learning style, and interests. I place a strong emphasis on questioning, discussion, and positive feedback, helping children develop independence and resilience. Where appropriate, I use creative tasks, visuals, and real-life examples to deepen understanding.
Typical lesson length
Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes, depending on age and focus, with short, purposeful activities to maintain concentration and engagement.
Qualifications & experience
I am a qualified primary school teacher with experience across KS1 and KS2, including mixed-age classes. I have particular experience supporting children with SEND, including autism, ADHD, anxiety, and attachment needs, and I adapt lessons carefully to support emotional as well as academic development.
