About Jan
Hi, my name is Jan, and I’m a friendly, dedicated tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students succeed. I’m currently a first-year university student studying forensic science, which means the math and science material I teach is fresh in my mind and aligned with today’s school expectations. I bring a strong academic foundation, with over a 90% average in both high school and university, and I take my role seriously while keeping lessons approachable and stress-free. I aim to build confidence, not pressure, by creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace.

My name is Jan, and my tutoring approach is structured, patient, and results-driven. I focus on building strong fundamentals first, then guiding students step-by-step toward independent problem solving. Lessons typically begin with a quick review, followed by clear explanations, worked examples, and targeted practice. What sets me apart is that I am currently studying chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, and advanced functions at the university level, so the material is fresh and highly familiar. With over a 90% average in both high school and university, I tutor students from Grade 1 to Grade 11, helping them build confidence, effective study strategies, and long-term academic success.
