About Angela
As a former Broadway performer and certified Somatic Voicework teacher, I bring extensive professional experience and a strong technical foundation to every lesson. I studied voice at SUNY Purchase and spent seven years performing on Broadway in Les Misérables. My performing career also includes national tours, numerous regional productions, and engagements as a soloist with orchestras around the world. I am a longtime member of Broadway Inspirational Voices, with performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and the Apollo Theater. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of singing backup for artists such as Barry Manilow, Hugh Jackman, Sara Bareilles, Mariah Carey, Harry Connick Jr., Vanessa Williams, Gloria Estefan, and Broadway legends including Patti LuPone, Liza Minnelli, Billy Porter, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Liz Callaway, Keala Settle, Kristin Chenoweth, Shoshanna Bean, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Norm Lewis, and Alex Newell. With over 25 years of performing and teaching, I offer clear, supportive guidance that helps students of all ages build confidence, develop healthy vocal habits, and reach their musical goals. My teaching is grounded in proven technique, patience, and professionalism, creating a positive learning environment where every singer feels valued, encouraged, and capable of growth.

My approach is supportive, student-centered, and grounded in healthy, functional vocal technique. Lessons typically include a brief check-in, targeted warm-ups, technique building, and working on songs students love. I teach singers of all ages and levels in musical theatre, pop, classical, CCM, and more, helping them grow artistically, develop strong, sustainable technique, and prepare for auditions, performances, and personal vocal goals.
For younger students, I use the same healthy foundation but in a more playful, accessible way. Lessons include simple warm-ups, age-appropriate technique, and singing songs that keep learning joyful and engaging. I focus on helping young singers develop pitch, rhythm, breath support, and musical expression while building confidence and a lifelong love of music. I work with beginners through advanced young performers, supporting school shows, choir, NYSSMA, auditions, or simply singing for fun.
