About Rachael
I have a BA in Theater and an Associates in Costume Design and Construction. I began building Costume for my high-school theater class at age 14. I was the Costume Shop manager and Lead Designer at my college for 3 years. I worked professional theaters as a Costume Technician and Designer for 3 years, before leaving to become a PreK Teacher.

I teach hand sewing and sewing machine skills. I work with beginners and experienced stitchers. I can teach how to make full garments from scratch as well as how to alter store bought clothes, including suits. Sewing is such a useful skill and not nearly as intimidating as it may seem.
