About Tashlyn
I am a passionate and patient B.Ed Foundation Phase student with a TEFL certificate and experience working with and supporting young learners. I have always enjoyed helping children learn, grow and gain confidence in their abilities. Teaching is meaningful to me because I love seeing a learner understand something they once found difficult. I aim to create a positive, encouraging and comfortable learning environment where every learner feels supported and motivated to do their best.

My lessons are fun, engaging and personalised to each learner’s individual needs. I focus on building strong English and literacy skills through reading, phonics, spelling, writing, comprehension and speaking activities. As a B.Ed Foundation Phase student with a TEFL certificate and experience working with children, I understand the importance of making young learners feel comfortable, confident and excited to learn. Lessons are adapted to each child’s level, pace and learning goals, with a patient and supportive approach.

Details
Online English and literacy lessons for Grade R–3 learners. Lessons are personalised according to each learner’s age, level and individual needs, with a focus on reading, phonics, spelling, writing, comprehension and speaking. Lessons are conducted online and are 1 hour long. A free first lesson is offered to get to know the learner and discuss their goals.
