I am Romanian and I have always travelled - I lived in France for 8 years and now I live in the UK. I believe languages have transformed my life and I think languages have the potential to change lives for my students - whether through improving literacy, opening their horizons or travel.

I teach phonics very explicitly to give my students knowledge in order to improve their accent. I also teach grammar explicitly and then I ask students to practice. I model writing paragraphs and sentence structures which then students are successful at creating independently.
