About Victoria
I am a third-year student, studying French and Politics, at the University of Nottingham. I achieved an A grade in French A-Level (AQA) in 2018. As an individual who started out as a beginner and worked up to degree level, I understand learning from a student's perspective. I am available to tutor students from Beginner's to A-Level. I have completed a TEFL module which lends itself well to teaching a language effectively.

I adapt my teaching method to suit the students' age and level. I create individual lesson plans which aim to maximise the students' learning. In a typical lesson, I begin by introducing a topic (which will vary depending on the school year/level of the student). Following on from this, I will introduce a concept (e.g. grammatical rules) which lends itself effectively to the chosen topic. I present examples and always check in on the student to ensure they are fully engaged. I will then ask the student to answer questions (for example, fill in the gaps). For A-Level students, I can offer useful tips and techniques which helped me to get an A grade.
