About Colette
I am a French tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language. I enjoy introducing students to the beauty of the French language while helping them build practical communication skills through supportive teaching.
My teaching approach focuses on patience, clarity, and regular speaking practice. I adapt every lesson to suit individual learning styles so students continue improving comfortably and confidently throughout their learning journey.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French novels, watching French films, and exploring the cultures of French-speaking countries. These experiences help me create authentic, engaging, and enjoyable lessons for every learner.

My French lessons create a comfortable environment where students learn through practical communication and enjoyable activities. We practice grammar, pronunciation, listening, vocabulary, verb conjugation, sentence building, and everyday conversations using clear explanations that make learning simple and effective. Every lesson encourages students to use French with growing confidence.
As learners progress, we work on reading passages, writing exercises, conversation practice, travel language, idiomatic expressions, and cultural topics. I include interactive activities that strengthen communication skills while helping students remember vocabulary naturally through meaningful practice.
My goal is to help students communicate confidently in French for travel, education, work, or personal interest. Every lesson develops fluency, accuracy, and confidence while making language learning both enjoyable and rewarding.
