About Gia
My journey with French began through a fascination with languages and cultural expression, leading me to complete a B.A. in French Studies followed by an M.A. in Applied Linguistics. Over 10 years of teaching, I have worked with learners from diverse backgrounds, helping them grow from hesitant beginners into confident communicators. I believe language learning should feel encouraging and human-centered. My teaching style emphasizes patience, clarity, and flexibility, allowing lessons to adapt to individual goals and learning speeds. I support students in developing both accuracy and natural expression. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with French through literature, film, linguistic research, and cultural study. Teaching French is deeply fulfilling because I see students gain confidence, curiosity, and the ability to connect meaningfully across cultures.
