About Sara

I am a student at the University of Melbourne, pursuing a Bachelor of Science with a major in Neuroscience and a Diploma of Languages in French Studies. With a passion for languages, especially French, I have dedicated over 10 years to studying it, including a recent semester abroad in Lyon, France. My experience mentoring beginner French students at the University of Melbourne and tutoring others along the way has strengthened my belief in the importance of learning another language. It not only opens doors to new cultures and perspectives but also enhances cognitive abilities and communication skills. My commitment to language learning, combined with my academic background and international experience, ensures a professional and enriching learning environment for all my students.

About the lesson

I offer French language lessons focusing on pronunciation and conversation, which are key to mastering the language. My teaching methodology includes comprehensive sessions covering grammar, spelling, and conversational practice to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Lessons typically last for one hour, though I am flexible with timing to accommodate individual needs. With experience as a French language mentor at the University of Melbourne and having taught English to French students during my semester abroad in Lyon, I bring a unique perspective to language teaching. I provide lessons for all ages at Levels A1 and A2, tailored to suit each learner's goals and abilities.
