About Cynthia

Native French speaker, born and raised in France with extensive experience teaching kids and adults as well as working as a communication liaison for major French companies; French instructor, artist, writer, and editor with a strong background in the film industry, I wrote and produced educational videos, including working with a teacher from the UCLA Science Project Leadership;. I help students prepare for class and do their homework; I teach casual or professional French conversation using multimedia tools to guide you not only through French vocabulary and grammar, but also to help you plan your trip to France, adapt and blend into everyday life, or help you conduct a business transaction. My classes offer a full immersion into French lifestyle and help you connect with locals, place an order, learn about French etiquette, explore cities and learn about French culture and history. I traveled extensively, and I am passionate about education and about teaching French.

About the lesson

My lessons are fun, diversified, individualized, tailored to children and adults' needs. Learn, practice, or revise your homework or use an array of authentic materials from book excerpts or videos to dive into the French-speaking world, from culture, fashion, customs, travel, food, and travel. I teach in person or online worldwide.

I’ve had Cynthia as a tutor for a few years and would say she is kind and outgoing individual. When I present her my scripts for French, she would enhance it and send recordings to help with pronunciations. She is also very open to questions and help outside of the class, which is super helpful. I’m happy that I’ve got to be her student.
